Getting There

Travel to Valle de Guadalupe

Fly into Tijuana, BC (TIJ)

The closest airport to Valle de Guadalupe — about a 60–75 minute drive along the coastal highway. Best option if you're flying within Mexico or have a direct international connection.

Passport required~60–75 min drive

Fly into San Diego, CA (SAN)

More international routes, especially from Europe. Cross the border via the CBX bridge (connects straight into Tijuana airport's terminal) or drive across at San Ysidro, then continue to Valle de Guadalupe.

Passport + ESTA/visa required~1.5–2 hr total

Entering Mexico

All visitors need a valid passport — if you're not Mexican, that includes you. Citizens of the US, Canada, UK, EU, and the Schengen Area don't need a visa for stays under 180 days, and the same exemption applies if you hold a valid visa or permanent residency from any of those. If your passport expires before late 2027, this is your nudge to renew it.

Entering the U.S.

(if flying via San Diego)

A passport is required, plus either an ESTA or a visa. Citizens of Visa Waiver Program countries can apply for an ESTA online, covering stays up to 90 days for tourism or business. Everyone else will need a visa from a U.S. embassy or consulate — rules vary by nationality, so double-check with your country's government if you're unsure.

What to pack

Baja in April: mild, sunny days with a coastal breeze, and noticeably cool evenings — bring a light jacket or wrap for outdoor parts of the celebration after sundown.

Ground transport

Flying into San Diego? We'll arrange a shuttle from SAN to Andana — just add your flight details when you RSVP and we'll coordinate from there.

Flying into Tijuana? Uber and airport taxis work well for the drive to Valle de Guadalupe. We can also recommend private drivers — just reach out and we'll send you contacts.
